Ask Abby is a study app for the clinical social work licensing exam, published by Abby-Gail Solomon. For help with anything below, or anything that isn't, write to hi@askabby.me.
Which exam does it cover?
The clinical exam as it has been given since August 3, 2026: 122 questions, 110 of them scored, in two sections of 61 with two hours each, across three content areas — Values and Ethics, Assessment and Planning, and Intervention and Practice. Answers you gave before the app was updated for this version have been moved to the new content areas, so your progress carries over.
Restoring a subscription
On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling, open Account (the profile button at the top right of Today) and tap Restore purchases on the Ask Abby Pro screen. Use the same Apple Account you subscribed with.
Cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Ask Abby. You can also tap Manage or cancel subscription in the app's Account screen. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next month.
Refunds
Apple handles payments, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your study data
Everything you do in Ask Abby stays on your iPhone. There is no account and no server copy, so if you delete the app, your progress is deleted with it. Deleting a profile from the Account screen erases that profile's history.
