Ask Abby

Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

Your use of Ask Abby is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula, together with the additional terms below. Where the two conflict, Apple's agreement controls.

A study aid, not the exam

Ask Abby is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB). ASWB is a trademark of the Association of Social Work Boards.

The questions in this app are written for practice. They are not questions from any actual ASWB examination, and your results in the app do not predict your result on the exam. No particular outcome is promised.

Not clinical or legal advice

Everything in Ask Abby, including the tutor, is for exam preparation only. It is not clinical supervision, professional consultation, or legal advice, and it should never be used to make decisions about a real client. Standards such as the duty to protect and mandated reporting vary by state; follow your state's law and your supervisor.

If you are struggling

If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States, or call 911 in an emergency. Ask Abby cannot respond to a crisis.

Subscriptions

Ask Abby Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your data

Your study history is stored only on your device and is covered by the Privacy Policy.
